Izon currently is artist in residence at The Clay Studio and a teaching artist throughout Philadelphia.
Izon’s research and artworks are principally concerned with “translation, transplanting, and transposing” of Black cultural production and situated at the juncture of traditional western modes and forms, classical techniques in clay, and breakages in the material cultural legacy of the African Diaspora.
